E.Wolfe & Co.

E. Wolfe & Co. was established in London in 1850, and quickly became known as ‘jewellers of high repute’. By the end of the 19th century, they were renowned as ‘The Tiara Makers’, producing over one thousand exquisite diamond and coloured gemstone tiaras that adorned many of the most aristocratic heads in Europe.  They also made two Royal crowns – the Imperial Crown of India’, created for George V to wear at the Delhi Durbar in 1911, and Queen Alexandra’s crown.  Many of these are illustrated in Geoffrey Munn’s evocative book ‘Tiaras – a history of Splendour’.

Since those glory days, E. Wolfe & Co have become famous once again for their enchanting bird and animal jewellery of incredibly high quality and often comic realism.
