Furr and Company’s directors are a husband and wife team. Greg Furr is a goldsmith and designer who trained at Sir John Cass in London. His first jewellery shop was established thirty years ago in Wokingham. The move to Hungerford came in 1995. He now works with his wife Rachel, a gemmologist, whose background is in the London auction world. She is still an Antique Jewellery consultant for several auction houses as well as private clients.

In August of 2005 they bought and restored No.7 Bridge Street to its former 18th century elegance, and it now forms a suitable backdrop for their style of jewellery.

They travel extensively to choose from the collections of the top jewellery designers in Spain, Italy, Germany and Great Britain, as well as designing and making their own pieces.

Furr and Company opened their online shop in the Summer of 2009.
